4 The Mayor’s Christmas Carols The Mayor’s Christmas Carols will be held on 6pm – 8.30pm on 30 November at the HOTA outdoor stage and parklands. The carols are free but spaces in the outdoor stage area are ticketed. Free tickets for the outdoor stage area will be available from 18 November. An overflow space will be set up in the HOTA parklands. Tickets will not needed for this space. Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate said: “The annual carols are a chance for the entire family to get into the Christmas spirit and come together singing under the stars. “There is something for everyone with live music, food trucks, and a special appearance by Santa at the end of the night.” Plan your journey to HOTA ahead of time and catch pubic transport, use active travel, or car pool.
