Even though prices are rising, there’s an opportunity in any market to improve the rental returns of your property, as well as attracting better quality tenants who will stay longer. Online Appeal. Most likely a potential tenant's first impression of a property will be the online advertising. It's crucial that the property stands out. Make sure the property is neat and tidy, freshen up the paint, mow the lawns and trim the gardens. Consider staging the property with some nice simple furniture before photographing, or talk to your agent about "virtual staging" for a cheaper option. 2. Add covered off street parking.
